Sold!!!!

I am so happy to say that we finally sold our house!

YAY!!!!!!!!!

We had our home up for sale by owner from Memorial Day to early August,

then listed with a realtor for 90 days - which turned out to be a 

huge disappointment due to a less than enthusiastic agent.

When Bill came down in November, we decided to just put the for sale by owner

sign back in the yard and with plans to list with an agent again in January if necessary.

A few days before Bill was scheduled to return to Illinois, a realtor contacted

him about showing the house. He had a young couple he thought it would 

be interested in it. I was praying so hard they would like it...

and turns out they did! They made an offer earlier this week which

we were more than happy to accept. The home inspection went well on Saturday

and we're moving forward to close the 3rd week in February.

This all has worked out so well! I know there have been many people thinking 

and praying for us and for that I am so so so blessed.

I have such fond memories of our first married home.

With a mixture of emotions, it is time to move on.

I'm looking forward to building our new house in Spanish Fort and 

having my husband join me full time in Alabama! 

Slowly but surely, we are getting there :).
