Hey there, what's that? It's beginning to look like a kitchen :)
The cabinet installation started on Friday afternoon.
The tile in the kitchen and bathrooms has also been placed.
 |
Tile in the master bath, which is not in a great light but it's a pretty marble-esque pattern. Please ignore that pesky pipe that still.has.not.been.fixed. |
 |
| Darker tile in the kitchen, breakfast nook and hallway. |
 |
| The deck is coming along... |

| Apologies for the darkness of this photo. I had to show you this beam/pole that appeared in the family room area. Full disclosure, I had an ugly meltdown when I first saw it...and I'm still not a fan. Bill calmly informed me it was in the blueprint (if you call a small square in the middle of room a beam) but I have no idea why they didn't put this in with the original drywall - probably never will - but now I have to live with it. I'm sure it's meant to somehow divide the living room from the dining room, but for now its just the "stupid pole" in the middle of my house. #timetoquitranting |

| And to put in said beam and pole, they ripped down the crown molding and made a mess of the ceiling. Sigh, it is at moments like these that ignorance would be bliss, right? Most people don't see how their house comes together on a day to day basis and at this point in time, I need to focus on the end product... it will all be polished and pretty when it's done! |
