Windows

In anticipation of the tropical storm that turned out to 

be nothing, the windows were installed in house at the end of last week. 

The back exterior doors were also put in:

 French doors to the back porch - which I really hope can be painted.

Not digging the weird beige color...

 Same thing with the half bath door, 'paint me white, please!'

You can also see the big ol' gap above the door that needs to be fixed 

since they didn't follow the directions in the first place and tried to make it a window.

I believe this jumble of wires is a part of the security system that is

prewired into the house. I'm not sure we'll activate it right away.

Do we need to at all? Thoughts????

I took these photos on Saturday. Just did a drive by a few hours ago and 

there was no work being done - shocker (insert sarcastic voice here).

About 2 weeks ago I was told the electricians would be coming in and they've

yet to make an appearance. My faith in a late November completion date

is fading quickly. The original projected completion date is just a week away (Oct 15th)

which I never thought they'd make in the first place, but now it's just 

not acceptable to me that they're getting so far behind. Grrr!

On a bit of an aside --- How cute are these dog girls of mine?

They looked like they were holding paws while I FaceTimed with Bill :)

They always make me smile when I'm getting aggravated with discouraging 

house stuff. I cannot wait for them (and Bill, of course) to be with me in Alabama!
