Building a firm foundation

Time for more pictures of our ever slowly moving house!

Remember me asking for prayers that it won't rain everyday???...well, we all

need to keep praying, because it won't stop raining! 

Last I checked, I lived on the Gulf Coast, not the soggy Northwest!

July 31st -  I was thrilled to see this quarter wall of the foundation!

 August 4th - concrete blocks continue to go into place

 August 7th - looks like all the blocks are in place and ready to be filled with dirt

 August 10th - Hey, hey, look at that! We've got the dirt all filled into the base of the foundation.

So, I believe the next step should be the slab...and like I said, it really needs to stay

dry this week for it to happen. And we've got a 50-60% chance of rain for the next 3 days.

If the weather holds and there is some more progress, I may add a picture or two

on Wednesday or Thursday. Let's just wait and see!!!

So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.
