The builders told us (and we have in our contract) that the construction
on our new home would begin on May 15th.
Well, I'm disappointed to say the lot still looks like this -
I drove past today and most of those little trees and brush are cleared,
but the lot is still full of lovely pine trees and there is no
equipment to be seen...despite an email from the site foreman stating said equipment
to clear the trees would be arriving by the end of this week. {Sigh}
Thus begins the testing of my patience. Which will probably be stretched
much further than I can possibly imagine over the course of the next 5 months.
I hope to report back sometime next week with photos of a cleared lot...
in the meantime, time to enjoy a beautiful Memorial Day weekend!
